Have you heard of fire cider? It is a tonic that you can drink daily. The main ingredient is apple cider vinegar and if you haven’t looked up the benefits of apple cider vinegar, you should! This apple cider vinegar is infused with other ingredients such as oranges, lemons, onions, ginger root, turmeric root, garlic, and more! It sits with all of these items for 4-6 weeks before you drain the liquid, which is what you consume. I take 1-2 oz of it daily and increase the amount that I take if I feel something coming on or know that we are around a lot of people.

Honey Lemon Water

Another winter wellness tip is to consider drinking honey lemon water each morning. This warm drink is comforting during the cold winter months and there are numerous health benefits from these two powerhouse ingredients: lemon and honey. We have been enjoying the Orange Blossom Honey from North American Herb & Spice in our honey lemon water. It is a great way to start your day, and you can feel good knowing that you are doing something good for your body!

Elderberry Syrup

If you were to ask people for ideas about how to stay healthy, there is a good chance someone would recommend Elderberry. It is well known for its immune boosting properties. Making an elderberry syrup gives you an easy way to get all of the benefits from these fruits and it is so much easier to do than people think!
