Are you looking for easy breakfast recipes? You are in the right spot! I enjoy making easy breakfast items that I can make on the weekends and store the extras in my freezer. This makes morning less stressful and saves me so much time. It also prevents me from making a mess in my kitchen every morning.
Breakfast Recipes for the Freezer
In my freezer I always like to have the following on hand:
- Muffins
- French Toast
- Pancakes
- Egg Bites
- Waffles
Egg Bites Breakfast Recipes
I make egg bites two different ways, one with phyllo dough and another in silicone containers. Egg bites are a great way to use up extra vegetables in your fridge like peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, etc. These can be stored in your freezer in a silicone bag or glass container.

The Best French Toast Recipe
My family members ask for 'fancy french toast' and this is a recipe that I picked up from a restaurant that I worked at in high school and it quickly because a favorite in our house.
Graham Cracker French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
4 graham crackers (good way to use up stale graham crackers)
3 eggs
¾ cup milk
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Vanilla Scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
Avocado or coconut oil
2-4 TBS butter French Toast Batter
1. Crush or blend graham crackers, stir in protein powder (optional) and set aside
2. Add eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla in a bowl and whisk
3. Dip bread of your choice into egg batter
4. Transfer bread into the graham cracker crumbs and press down, making sure the bread is coated
5. Heat griddle to 350 or pan to medium heat
6. Melt butter on pan or griddle
7. Place french toast onto pan or griddle for 1-2 minutes per side or until golden brown, adding more butter before flipping
8. Let cool completely and transfer to bag to put in the freezer or eat fresh and enjoy!
This french toast typically last about 3 months in the freezer, reheat in the microwave, pan, or toaster oven. Don’t use a regular pop up toaster for these, they’d make a mess due to the coating.
Higher Protein Breakfast Recipes
I like to add extra protein to my breakfast items when possible. When it comes to pancakes and waffles, I use Kodiak Protein Mix and also add eggs to the batter. This increases the protein content in the waffles and pancakes to make them a more filling and nutritious breakfast.
I love topping these breakfast items with fresh berries! This is a great way to use berries when they are at the end of their peak freshness. Strawberries in a Jar should stay fresh for three weeks, and in the final week I might slice them up to use on breakfast items.
