Needless to say, I have a family full of allergies. Not to mention food preferences. It is so hard to get allergy-friendly, gluten-free pizza crust that meets all of the requirements that we need. I mean where do you get a soy-free, gluten-free pizza dough that will feed the family without breaking the bank? My answer…

Homemade Pizza

Make it homemade. That was my answer. Now to find an easy, tasty pizza dough recipe. It has got to taste good otherwise it is a waste of time and money. Amy holding a fresh ball of pizza dough The added bonus of making it homemade is that you can get the whole family involved. By making pizza together we save money and we have quality family time together. Pizza night has created fun memories for my family and hopefully yours too.

Favorite Pizzas

What is your favorite pizza? Pepperoni? A pizza with everything? Another great tip is to make sure you have your family’s favorite toppings on hand. On your three-week shopping cycle grab your ingredients. chopped onions, peppers, and mushrooms for pizza toppings At my house in my freezer you will find a pizza topping section. I will freeze toppings in bags for each pizza. Does your family like sausage? Get a package of sausage, cook it all up and then freeze in pizza-sized portions for each pizza. I freeze the 1lb mozzarella cheese packages and each one is perfect for each pizza. Stick some Canadian bacon in the freezer and canned pineapple. Does pineapple belong on a pizza? Are you team pineapple? Check out my What’s in My Freezer video here to see how I store my pizza toppings for quick easy pizza night!
