Ribs can be found on sale in the summer which makes it a great time to stock up on these items for the freezer. Many people think that ribs can only be made on a special occasion, but that's not the case. They make a delicious meal anytime and when you buy them on sale, it's an affordable meal too!
Using the instant pot to make ribs speeds up the process. They take less than an hour and are packed with flavor. It also makes for easy clean up with just on pot to wash.
Homemade Rib Rub
These ribs get a lot of their flavor from the rub that I put on them before cooking them. I make the rub using ingredients from my pantry. This allows me to ensure that it is safe for the members of my family who have allergies. It also means that I can make the ribs anytime because I always have the ingredients on hand. You can get the full recipe in this blog.

Homemade BBQ Sauce
I also like to top our ribs with my homemade BBQ sauce. I make this in the early summer and it is flavored with cherries. You can get the full recipe on this blog: Cherry BBQ Sauce.
