Creating The Grocery Solution

Why I Created This Resource

When Strawberries in a Jar started going viral, I quickly realized that it was more than just strawberries. I had a calling on my heart to share what I know about grocery shopping, wasting less, meal prepping, planning, a grocery budget that works, and food storage. As the hack was being shared, we all were experiencing food shortages and empty shelves. That’s when I knew that these practices were something worth sharing. If I could help one person feel more confident about feeding their family, it would be worth it. A year later, I have gathered all of my best tips and resources and put them into one place for you.

The Grocery Solution Online Course

The Grocery Solution Course came together after my two eBooks I Bought It, Now What? and I Bought It, Now What Summer Edition were released. These books have helped so many people learn the skills they need to keep their produce fresh and save money. Between the two of them, they explain how to keep 50 produce items fresh for weeks. But, what about the other things we deal with?

Are you stressed about grocery prices going up?

Do you dread meal planning because it takes so much time and effort?

Are you having to go to the grocery store often to get a few things that end up costing more than you had planned for?

The last question really hits home for me, we have been there as a family. Mike and I were working five jobs just to feed our houseful and make ends meet. We had cut back on everything we could think of. We were so busy with life that we didn’t realize our short but frequent trips to the grocery store to get “a few things” was actually killing our budget. I am sure that you have been there, busy weeks like the first week of school, working late, or when your kids have a full sports schedule. Your grocery budget and ultimately what you have in your home should do the work for you. Not the other way around.

Let's Bring Hope Back into Your Kitchen

Learning the skills that are laid out for you in this course will help you feel confident about the foundation you have set for food security in your home and you’ll see the benefits right away. Grocery savings, less trips to the store, and ultimately less stress around feeding your family.

Recently, I shared in a YouTube video that I started shopping and delivering for Instacart. During my first weekend, I learned so much about what is happening in the grocery stores. I have a video all about it. This really is about helping families save money on food and bringing hope back into your kitchen.
