During the holiday season my family always looks forward to this cheesy broccoli casserole. I learned the recipe from my mom and continue to make it every year. It is something that everyone enjoys and it wouldn't feel like the holidays without this dish on the table.
How to Wash Broccoli
This recipe is made with fresh or frozen broccoli. If fresh broccoli is used, it should be washed before cooking it. To wash broccoli, use 1 tablespoon of salt with 10 cups of warm water, allow it to soak for two minutes. After the two minutes, rinse it to remove any residue. After rinsing, place the broccoli into the pot to continue making this recipe.
