Shepherd's pie

Filing
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 cups veggies (peas, corn, mushrooms, zucchini, green beans, etc)
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T tomato paste
- ¼ cup broth
- ½ T rosemary
- ½ T thyme
- ½ T parsley
Mashed Potatoes
- 2-3 lbs potatoes
- 3 T butter
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- salt and pepper, to taste
Filling
Saute diced onion and minced garlic until translucent
Add ground beef and brown
Add remaining ingredients and mix together
Cook for 5 minutes
Place mixture in the bottom of a baking dish
Mashed Potatoes
Boil potatoes in salted water until soft
Drain water
Put potatoes back into pot
Add the rest of the ingredients and mash potatoes
Layer potatoes on top of the meat mixture in the baking pan
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
